I have a habit of writing a lot of love-based songs; this is no exception. What originally stated as a piano love ballad turned into an 80s-esque synthpop ballad after experimenting with synthesizers during lockdown in summer 2020. The song could be interpreted as reaffirming one's feelings for their loved one. Over the last year I have been experimenting with Final Cut Pro X for video editing and one of the tricks I learned was to combine several videos of me in the same room to make an entire band of myself. While it's a little more time consuming to get everything lined up just right, it's so much fun to see it put together. I readjusted the aspect ratio and added some VHS tape-like effects to further add to the 80s vibes. This song will be featured on the album I will be releasing this year called " Confessions of the Heart".
